This skirt has been one of my favorites to make lately, and it's a stunner! It's also very easy to make if you have the time and a few important tools! This is the same pattern I've used to make nearly all of my 18th-century, pirate, and rococo-inspired skirts, but with a modern twist. Whether you wear the skirts with historical stays, a cottagecore bodice, or even a boho top, it's one of the most versatile pieces to have, and I always get compliments on it whenever I go out. To give you an idea of the time required, I can usually complete this skirt from start to finish in about 4-5 hours, assuming I'm not taking any breaks. If you add lace or other embellishments, it's likely going to take a little longer, but it's well worth the time. And if you watch this video all the way through and don't want to make your own, I'm happy to create something special for you!
